Should the government be able to censor what we see?

Well - just imagine what that would eventually lead to...
For instance, In Tibet (which has been ruled by China for some time now) they have "fake Google"...
This means that the Tibetans get on the internet and see a website that looks just like Google...
When they type words to search... like maybe.... "I hate China".... the only search results that will come back to them are...
1) Everyone loves China...
2) China is the best.....
3) China is your friend...
4) America loves China too so don't complain to them about your REAL Google results that everyone totally loves...
See what I'm getting at?
So my question is... how would we even know if a little bit of this behavior is not already happening in the United States?
(No one in Tibet would be allowed to see this particular post because the government has advanced search engines which block these kind of remarks on their internet providers.)

What are you, as an entity wanting to see?You are the one asking the question for yourself. I see everything I need to see. and I keep my eyes in my own head. what about the eye of the entity? I'm not going to come out in defense of a question when I have not seen the person(s) behind it. I do take eye drops for those blurs and this one looks like one.

No. We have freedom of speech and freedom of the press. However, the government will do anything to get around it.

NO. This is the country of FREEDOM......if we let the govt start things like that, before you know it we will all have ID NUMBERS tattooed on us and they will tally out food and water and clothing and there will be no FREEDOM to any of us........we will be prisoners in our world.....
