He has never called for the extinction of Israel for one, he merely said the government is corrupt and needs to be cleaned up and changed. Yet I read on Yahoo and AP that he has repeatedly said this. Strange?

Is there any definitive proof that there were actual WMD's found in Iraq? My American Government professor speaks of this as fact, but I am unable to find any credible evidence proving it. Please don't cite any biased news sources like Fox News, I want real answers. Thanks!

The NY Times reports:
"Big States’ Push for Earlier Vote Scrambles Race"
By Adam Nagourney
WASHINGTON, Jan. 24 — As many as four big states — California, Florida, Illinois and New Jersey — are likely to move up their 2008 presidential primaries to early next February, further upending an already unsettled nominating process and forcing candidates of both parties to rethink their campaign strategies, party officials said Wednesday. The changes, which seem all but certain to be enacted by state legislatures, mean that the presidential candidates face the prospect of going immediately from an ordered series of early contests in relatively small states in January to a single-day, coast-to-coast battlefield in February, encompassing some of the most expensive advertising markets in the nation.

In the recent UK news – (http://uk.news.yahoo.com/25012007/325/mu... we can see that a set of Muslims are complaining over the 'bad guy image'. In all do respects if they were big in the movie making business they would portray the other religions as bad. I just cannot believe why these people persist on making a big deal about nothing. How many films are out there where a Christian or Catholic is portrayed as bad people or the enemy? We do not complain though. They are a race of people who just seem to enjoy causing a fuss over nothing. When I watched Raiders of the Lost Ark, I did not immediately think 'OMG all Muslim people are bad!' It is just so annoying, a group of people in London being able to hold up banners saying 'All Westerners must be hanged' and getting away with it, if we were in Pakistan or Iraq they would not stand for something like that if we were insulting them in such a manner, we would be killed.

I am working on a English paper. I am thinking about doing it on the meth commercials. In my opinion they should put more details of what meth does to your body than just saying "this isn't supose to be your life" or " I am only going to do this once". i think there shoud be more than that.... here are a few web site of the commercials if you haven't seen it yet.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nzANGr2doFo&NR , http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4WJdfqti3n8 , and http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nbuVCnM-fMA&mode=related&search=

I always wondered about outrageous claims the United States gets Iraq's oil . Seems to be a wild herring - like all conspiracy tales

UN Resolution 1637
The Council, acting under Chapter VII in adopting the new resolution 1637 (2005) submitted to extend until 31 December 2006 the arrangements for depositing proceeds from export sales of petroleum, products, and natural gas into the Development Fund of Iraq, as well as the arrangements for monitoring the Fund by the International Advisory and Monitoring Board. The Development Fund for Iraq was established on 22 May 2003 with the adoption of Security Council resolution 1483 (2003), by which the Council ended economic sanctions against Iraq. The Fund was set up to administer proceeds from the export sales of Iraq’s oil, as well as funds remaining from the United Nations “oil-for-food” program.

Sounds safe to give the UN another shot at a oil program. Opinions ???

I am not taking a position on the issue, it just struck me as funny that the U.S. can have nuclear capabilities as the only nation to actually use them in combat, but the small Iranian nation is not permitted. And two, who gave the U.N. the right to make such regulations? If they can do that, then the rest of the world is essentially under their rule.
