Being in Norway I can`t help you when it comes to TV news... But I can give you a list of internet sites that one of my professors recommended to us when I was taking my bachelor degree in political science.

The class we got this list from was: Power, politics and the media
We were encouraged and expected to read international publications regurlaly. So he gave us an incomplete list of web based news sources that are free(though may require registration)

i'm getting various alluring tips from Al Jazeera English. they are exceptionally strong at international information in a familiar way. for sure, like each and every information website, it has its biases. yet you receives tips you received't get on MSNBC or CNN. I type of want they could deliver newshounds into Mexico. They obviously are able to employ those with the coronary heart to report from conflict zones. And information about the drug wars in Mexico is largely suppressed by technique of the threats of the Cartels.

Sorry dude.....but I'm to the point where I don't watch any news whatsoever. I've learned that the news media doesn't necessarily speak or print the truth. We are told what they want us to hear. I would have never considered that......until I came to Iraq. Now I have no respect for anyone in the press, and many, many soldiers also share that same opinion. I wish you the best of luck with your studies.
