I tried to return a product to Wal-Mart with a receipt. They refused to refund the amount I paid for the item, citing that it had been over 90 days since the item was purchased. There were extenuating circumstances, but that didn't matter to them. Aren't they governed by laws in Texas concerning this? And, if they are, what are they?

It was bad when a person called on the tele, trying to sell you something you didn't really need. But lately there are more and more calls from machines with pre-recorded messages of sales scams.
So this is their idea of saving money? Fire the real people and use machines instead?

I'm starting to not ever answer my land-line, I'm thinking of discontinuing my land-line service all together, and just using my cell, at least my cell company doesn't allow telemarketing on cell phones.
