Try a sporting goods store, particularly one that sells skis. Although, if you are in the northern hemisphere, it's probably a bad time to be looking.

With every day pass, our country is getting into more and more trouble. Argos, but i would not recommend them as they dont stay warm i would get the disposable ones self heating last for 6 hours they cost £12.99 for 20 pacs of 2 sachets reliable clean safe & oderless ( cat no 019/8187 ) used both i use the desposable ones all the time will have mine with me in december camping throw 2 in sleeping bag for the night nice,

Sport Chalet, REI or Chick's sporting goods are all good places to find the hand warmers. They are also all over Southern California so there's bound to be one near you.

You can also find them at www.emergencyessentials.com where you can get them fairly inexpensively in bulk quantities.

Hardware/home improvement type stores always carry them because outside craftsmen need them to warm their hands.
