Well, considering that is kind of out of my league, the best thing to do is report it...
Have a license plate tag?
Go to the station and a sketch artist can draw up a figure...
(That's if you saw them)...
Otherwise, I guess I couldn't find them...

If I were looking for the killer in the dumpster at the NORTH end of the building, I would be running out of the exit at the SOUTH end of the building.
Any questions? Anyone got a problem with that?

First, check the area where the incident took place and look for surveillance cameras, restaurants with windows (or other places witnesses might have been).
If you were shot by a car (assuming you mean drive by), but are around to type this question, then you clearly weren't killed!!
