Where I shop, I pay $1.99 a pound for my pork chops and $1.79 for hamburger meat, would I save more money shopping at Sam's Club? How much do you pay for that stuff there? How much for cans of soda like 12 or 24 packs? Even if you have to buy bigger cases can you please tell me how much the cases of cans cost?

I would like to become involved in a non-profit that promotes literacy/reading for children and/or adults. I emailed a First Book.org for the San Francisco Bay Area but never received a response. Other than the local library, what are some other avenues that I could pursue?

Places like Reading is Fundamental is currently not accepting any volunteers in California. Suggestions?
