Stop being so hard on yourself, after all you have held down part-time jobs. More than a resume, you need to build up your confidence in yourself. You can have the best resume in the world but it is useless if you can not sell yourself to the prospective employer. And forget your age. You are not your age. And they are not hiring your age. They are hiring you for your cooperation, your skills and what it is that you can contribute to their organization to make it more prosperous. Now that you know that you can do better, there is only one thing left to do and that is to go out there an get the job! Chances start with you. Give yourself the chance and get over your fears and you will be well rewarded, with a job no less. Now go get'em tiger! If you don't get the 1st or the 2nd or the 3rd then keep the faith and strength that you have built up in yourself until you do land one. Remember, you are not a failure. You asked for help and that qualifies you as a winner. With all of this in mind, there are plenty of helpful websites that offer tips on resume writing, or just do a search on resume tips or resume writing.
