16 year old seeking job, need help!?

Im a 16 year old and I need a good job that pays well. I live in Parrish, Florida and there is a mall near my house. Could someone please tell me what jobs pay well that are usaully at a mall?

As a manager, I thought I might give you some tips here. First thing, if this is your first job, do not expect a whole lot of great offers on pay. You have to start somewhere and get experience first.

When you go to apply for a job, make sure to fill out the application completely - read each line and fill it out honestly. It shows your ability to follow instructions to whoever may interview you. Once you have filled it out, ask nicely (be very friendly) to speak to the manager. Let them know you have filled out an application and would like to see if there are any openings. Smile and try to be natural. Its ok to be scared. That is normal. But still try to smile. They will see you really are trying to make an effort.

You may need to start at minimum wage, if you dont have experience yet. Either in food service in the mall, or a retail store.

I don't know what you consider a 'good' salary, but at 16 you will be starting at the bottom with minimum wage or just a bit above. I suggest you dress for success and go to the places you think you'd like to work. Ask to speak to the manager and see if there are any employment openings for you. You will be asked to fill out an application so have all your important information with you (SS # etc.)

Keep on looking, if you are hard working as you say you will find a good rewarding job soon. When I was your age I would go to an employer and tell them that I would work one day for -0- compensation and I always got the job. I'm sure things have changed with all the Government B.S. by now.
