I'm trying to avoid paying the trash collector an extra $20 per month to rent a dumpster. I would rather repair the dumpster I have. Does anyone know who does this type of work? I'm located in the Cincinnati, Ohio area.

I am buying Hot Tub, which is an American import, and the shop has said it is a 32amp and needs to wire directly into the consumer unit with an RCD.

I was hoping to just plug it into the outside socket on the wall - (which looks like it shares the wires with our cooker as it is the opposite side to the wall) why can i not just do this??

I have a consumer unit which looks old (perhaps 1970's) which uses fuse wire. The shop has said this MAY be too old and could need replacing with a modern one before i get the hot tub. They would do this, and charge me for it. Is this correct??

If it does need replacing, how much should I expect to pay an electrician to do this, and wire in hot tub??

If i can use the existing consumer unit, how much should an electrician charge to just wire in the hot tub??

Thanks for reading my questions, and I hope someone can help out!!!

Tomorrow will be one week since I have seen a mouse in my house. My husband has set 12 traps up and put out a box of orfin. We have also sealed up any places where we think it could of got in. My husband thinks it's gone, but we have small children and I'm nervous about letting them play down there again. Also there has been no new mouse droppings. I just want to have proof that the mose is dead!

Nothing too fancy because money is sort of limited. I've got a wood waterbed set that I hoped to use for some of the building. Is there any websites that have easy bar plans?

I know moisture breeds them. What can I do to be rid of them? An exterminator was no real help.

...Or can the bulk of the plant be in the water and the leaves sticking out? I have been told that if the WHOLE plant is not in the water that it will die BUT I cannot find any plant site that says that. I have a Sword Plant that I have in a glass bowl with gravel and 5/6 of the plant is completely under water but the leaves are sticking out...will it die?

I have a gas fireplace (Heat-N-Glo) in master bedroom. This fireplace has a switch on the wall just like a regular switch for any house lights. The pilot seems a lot bigger than the one seen in gas stove.

I am just wondering if it is needed to turn the pilot light off in the summer. If it is good to do, who can do it? If I can do it, how?

Thanks!

All of my kitchen appliances are aluminum steel, these are the hardest to keep clean. I've tried every product in the market. What do you do? Do you agree or disagree that they're hard to keep clean?
