Women's Health - December 2007

My boyfriend and I, both virgins until recently, like to go at it. However, it is so easy for him to get to an orgasm- I haven't been able to hit one yet. I feel like there's something wrong with me; although, I have heard that it is much, much harder for a female to get there. So naturally, I have a ton of questions, such as how to get there, what my boyfriend can do for me, when to do it, etc. I feel I'm missing out on some crucial information- can someone fill me in?

I am going on vacation tommorow in Florida. And my family plans on going swimming. Unfortunatly, I got my period on Christmas, and still have it. So, I am going to need to use a tampon, and do not want to screw up. If it helps, I have the Playtex Gentle Glide tampons.

I have recently been diagnosed with IBS(diarrhea) My internist prescibed Elavil, and told me to take metamucil daily, I do beleive both of these have helped, however, I can still get pretty bad before and right after my peroid ends. Obviosly its hormonally related. Any suggestions ??

I am just now coming off of my first three months on quasense. Before that, I was on trinessa. I have been off of quasense for 5 days now after never missing a pill and only being a few hours late one morning. I have not yet had my period, only what looks to be extremely light spotting. Has anyone else experienced this?

I think the reason I am having painful intercourse is because I need lubricant.

Do you think its ironic that men are usually big and strong but they have a huge weakness between their legs/? in their balls. Like that most men tower over me because im short and they are alot stronger than me and all i have do is slap or hit them in the balls and down they go, do u love it girls or do u use it?

I had a blood clot from a car accident. i weighed 102lbs...during that month i lost about 15 lbs which brought me down to 85...i am normally a small person but it just bothers me that i can't get back to my normal weight..i weigh 92 lbs and its been over a year since my surgery...is there something wrong with me...i have had my thyroid checked and blood test...i want to get back to my normal weight or mabey even around 110 i am 5'2 adn 20 years old..has anybody else had a duodenal hemotoma? and what can i do to gain weight? what can i eat? i've seen a nutritionist..they are no help at all lol

I'm not on the pill and do not need birth control, but for personal reasons I'd like to change when I get my period by a week or a couple of weeks.
I don't want to be on birth control pills for too long - so can I take them for just a short time to change when my period starts?
Also - any suggestions for the best pill to prevent Breakthru bleeding?

I am 22 years old, petite, 5 2” weight: 115, but my breast size is smaller then a cup A. I wonder if my breasts will still continue to increase?
And I also wanted to know, why do some people have bigger breasts and some smaller? I understand that it comes genetically, but is it because of hormones or why?

I know its not period blood. b/c that is different from blood that comes out when you cut yourself or something. does that make sense but past view days when ever I poop (yeah gross sorry) I bleed, not from the anus but from the vagina. and its like spotting. In the beginning of September i had my period, but on the 24th of september i had unprotected sex. The next month my period was due but i did not come on instead i was feeling like i wanted to through up from the smell of cookies. But on Nov.6 it came on but i felt as if someone had shot me literally i really don't have cramps but those were unbarable. what does this sound like to you?

My GYN just put me on birth control for the first time after my first exam (I'm 18) because of an extremely irregular period- I had it 8 times in roughly 2 and a half months (before that it had been very regular).. Anyway, since I started the pill, I've been having sharp, severe pains in my lower abdomen. The pain usually stops after I take my pill that day. Today was the first day of my period and the cramps have been worse than ever before- no medicine, exercise or heat seems to help. Is this normal for birth control, or could something be wrong?

Im 21, Im on birth control, my boyfriend and I are very careful when it comes to sex. Were going on a trip next week and im suppose to be on my period, is it bad to purposely skip my period using birth control by skipping the placebo week when you normally get your period and go right to the next pack?
