Horrible IBS before and after period!?

I have recently been diagnosed with IBS(diarrhea) My internist prescibed Elavil, and told me to take metamucil daily, I do beleive both of these have helped, however, I can still get pretty bad before and right after my peroid ends. Obviosly its hormonally related. Any suggestions ??

Yes, this could be an indicator that you may have endometriosis. I would recommend consulting a gynecologist if you haven't already to see what they think could be going on.
