I had a blood clot from a car accident. i weighed 102lbs...during that month i lost about 15 lbs which brought me down to 85...i am normally a small person but it just bothers me that i can't get back to my normal weight..i weigh 92 lbs and its been over a year since my surgery...is there something wrong with me...i have had my thyroid checked and blood test...i want to get back to my normal weight or mabey even around 110 i am 5'2 adn 20 years old..has anybody else had a duodenal hemotoma? and what can i do to gain weight? what can i eat? i've seen a nutritionist..they are no help at all lol

I would recommend asking for a consultation with an endocrinologist (a doctor that diagnoses and treats diseases and disorder that involve hormnes such as thyroid) if you haven't already because they have other kinds of blood tests to check for things such as cortisol levels to see if one of those could be causing a different kind of hormone imbalance that could be making it harder to gain weight.
