It's normal.

Thick, white discharge is common at the beginning and end of your cycle. Normal white discharge is not accompanied by itching. If itching is present, thick white discharge can indicate a yeast infection.

The following symptoms are for a YEAST infection, which I don't think you have.
Looks like : Clumpy nasty white stuff. Most medical descriptions compare the discharge to ricotta cheese, but it can range from thick and not clumpy to faintly yellow to thin and clear.

It smells like : Bread or beer. In fact, it smells pretty much exactly like yeast, although the yeast used in brewing and baking is an entirely different species.

Should feel like: An intense itching, burning sensation, localized in your vagina and vulva. This itching is not always present, but can get really bad, so bad you can hardly walk, let alone ride your bike to the pharmacy or doctor to get it treated.

--I think you just have the first thing I described, however, if you're still nervous, see a doctor. I don't know what the strange smell is, so you might want to see a doctor. Chances are, it's normal.

Is the discharge chunky? are you itchy down there? does it burn down there? If you answered yes to these than it could possibly be a yeast infection.

Sounds like a yeast infection. Go see an dr. They can prescribe something to clear it right up. They are actually pretty common.
