Women's Health - December 2007

I mean I can appreciate an attractive guy, andI sometimes think a man's body looks good. I am also attracted to a guy's physique.

But, I'm not really turned on by d*cks. When a guy comes near me, he doesn't smell as good as a girl, and I easily get turned off. But, seeing a women naked turns me on.

I can't imagine having sex with a guy. It looks too painful and unsatisfying. Guys are so rough!

But, I can imagine having sex with a women, because they are so soft, conforting, and compassionate.

Watching men has sex with women doesn't make me feel as good as watching women have sex with other women. I get off on watching girl-on-girl action!

Is this some twisted kind of bisexuality, or are my feelings trying to tell me something about myself?

so im on the shot and awhile ago i had to take antibiotics for a throat infection i had... does antibiotics effect the shot in any way??? cause i kno that when ur on the pills it does... but is it the same way wit the shot? will i have to wait till i get my next shot to prevent me from getting pregnant?

I missed my Monday dose of Ortho-Tricylin because I was throwning up and I knew I would just throw my pill up, so I didn't take it until yesterday and then took yesterdays pill this morning, so now I just have to take today's pill tonight (I always take my pill at night) so I am pretty much back on schedule except now I am spotting! I have never had this before. Does this mean my BC is not working? I checked my ovulation dates on an online ovulation calculator, and I'm past my window, but then why am I spotting? Will it stop once I take my pill tonight? I've been on oral contraceptives for 6 years now. I really thought even if I missed a couple like this that my 6 years of taking pills would play into the equation.

Now, I'm somewhat educated. I know that the act of oral sex can't get you pregnant, I know that much. But, if semen were to get onto my hands or something and eventually end up... down there, do I need to worry? Basically I'm not sure how long it takes for semen to die when they're outside of the body.

I intend to clean myself off with a towel afterward as soon as possible and take every precaution I can, but is there still some way I could get pregnant? My gut says no, there isn't, but I want to be sure before I do anything.

Just to clarify: I'm seventeen. I'm not an uneducated elementary school student. My knowlege is leading me to believe that it is not possible to get pregnant tis way. However, I am also a virgin, in both intercourse and oral sex. Therefore, I have no experience. I would like to get the opinion of someone who does. So please, don't scold me for anything.

I have heard that this is dangerous especially for your bones. I have not had my period for the last 6 months.

The problems associated with not having a period...can this be resolved if I take the pill and I menstruate? This is what the doctor recomended but I wanted to know the dangers of not having a period and whether the problems will be resolved by the pill which the doctor has already prescribed for me.

My mom has been diagnosed with pancreatitis and a gallbladder problem. She also has had ulcers and a drinking problem most of her life. She is 46 and I saw her for the first time in a few months yesterday and her stomach is huge. Her body as a whole hasn't gained weighter, but her belly is big like she is pregnant.
