You've received some unusual advice, I wouldn't use any vegetables or fruits...they can't be cleaned appropriately.
You can always use your hands & imagination in the shower or bath with the stream running on your body.

ok...banana, electric toothbrush, cucumber, flashlight, small remote, cell phone that vibrates, popsickle...thats all i can think of.
