Women's Health - January 2007

Usually when I'm in school my armpits start to sweat and I don't even do anything. Also, my right armpit sweats more than my left one... they don't smell though. I use an antipersperant. It's really embarressing. I hate wearing short sleeved shirts and raising my arm. Can anyone suggest anything??

Yesterday, I was fine in school. Then on the bus coming home I have a huge migrane. Once I got home I started to feel dizzy and wanted to sleep. I didn't go to sleep, but I sat down for a bit. When I got up, I felt pain all in my body. I finally said okay, maybe I'm hungry. So I took a bite of something to eat and immediatly felt sick to my stomach. A few minutes later I felt numbness in my arms and legs and could barely stand. I then started finding it hard to hold my head up, so I said "OKAY IM GOING TO BED." I went to bed and then I couldnt fall asleep because the pain was unbarable. I still havent slept yet, but I feel a little better but I still have alot of pain... do you have ANY idea what the hell is wrong with me??!?!? The pain is around my appendix area, and NO its not my time of the month.. My ribs hurt, my stomach hurts, it hurts to breathe.. I dont know what this is!! HELP!

I never had my period before( I already checked with a gynocologist,bloodwork,hormone check,ultrasound,medication, and MRI) but when I wiped I saw a bit of blood along with brown stuff, a bit chunky. It didn't have a strong odor or anything. and I didn't just poo so I have no idea what the heck the brown stuff is. Is this normal?

I came off the pill in July but only resently did my boyfriend point out that my nipples are leaking slightly. Is this due to hormone changes with coming off the pill.
Do I need to worry or is this normal. We are trying for a baby but I am definately not pregnant. Any advice is good. Thanks

it hurts when i pee. but it hurts like where your bikini line starts only on the inside. it has the last couple days. what could this be? its not an std i was tested in the summer and have been in a monagomus relationship for 3 years.

well im 17years old ive been with my boyfriendfor 9mnths, we havnt had sex in around 4-5 months, just because @first we were going to see if we could go 2 months without sex&it worked out, but then we decided to go longer, are realtionship was getting kinda rocky@about 6-7 months trying to see if we wanted to be serious, or if it was just ready to be over&now we are totaly fine, and figured out everything. but we decided we dont just want to just use condoms, we want something else to be extra carful.
so i want to go on the pill. ive been on brith control before (planned parent hood) for one month, i decided even though me and my boyfriend wernt having sex when we did again atleast wed be safe about it but i got major moodswings&gainedweight&bad depression from the pill so i took myself off.anyone had that happen while on b.c&then got on one that works really well. i aam willing to pay money insted of going to planed parent hood&go through my moms gynacologist.any ideas?

Im 23 and have been having regular and normal flow during period. Since the last 3-4mths, my flow is getting lesser and now, i only need to use pantyliner during my period instead of normal day and night pad. Why?????

My family has history of females unable to get pregnant. Does this symptom spells that I might be infertile? I always thought that only those who are going to menopause will have lesser flow....

Please help... Im very frightened now....

Around a month and a half ago i took the morning after pill for the first time, even though it was a small risk i was pregnant. About 2 weeks later i thought i had started my period but it was wasnt normal (brown and light) but this eventually went normal(ish) after a few days so i started to take the pill for the first time. It's now over a month later and my period still hasn't stopped its been going for about 38 days now, but it's light and brown so not a normal period at all. I went to the doctor last week and he said to just carry on taking the pills without taking a seven day pill free week. He thought it might stop it, but it has had no change. Sometimes i notice that it almost stops a few hours after i take the pill, maybe i need a higher dose? It's really awful and annoying i just want it to do go away basically! any advice appreciated thanks. note:. i have not been sleeping with my boyfriend lately cos of this.

I'm 19 and I've always had bf s who used condoms. Now I'm on the pill. My old Bf s seemed to *** a few teaspoons of sperm in the condom. My new man (who is older than earlier bf s - he is 39) seems to always produce about 3 or 4 tablespoons full and it is much thicker and much whiter. I've not said anything to him but I don't think it is normal.

I also have a new problem now I'm on the pill - I leak for about 2 days and it does start to smell after a while (fishy). I've tried using pantie liners but this is just uncomfortable and smelly. I used a tampon last week - but this ended up smelling worse. How do you get the *** to come out. I've tried sitting on the loo - but it wont come out. It seems to start dribbling out the morning after when I'm at work to make it worse.

Help.

My cousin is in her forties. She recently said that she is able to squeeze a drop of liquid from one of her breast. She says there is no lumps or anything else unusual, but that she is able to squeeze out a drop or two of what looks like milk. She's not pregnant, either. What's up? Hormones?

so this is what i know (im a guy) .. when you first start off taking the pill, you have to wait 10 days before u can engage in sex, and u take the pill the same time everyday... and when u get ur period, u continue to take pills but they are just so u get in the habit of taking them but they are infact sugar pills ? so my question is if my GF had her period, but its over before her "sugar pills" end, is it safe to have sex w/o a condom? can u still get pregnant if she doesnt miss any pills? because i read somewhere that the pill u take will affect it the NEXT week, so im confused, if these pills for the week of her period are just sugar pills, doesnt that mean you have to wait a week after period to have pills in affect? sorry might be a little confusing.. sorry, i tried searching this topic about PILLS after the period etc but it just showed up with a bunch of "day after pill" and my gf dsnt care or want to learn, but i ALWAYS do.. so please help me. =)
