If it is bright red blood and it is not in the poop itself it may be from tearing when you poop. If the stool was dry and hard to come out. It may also be from a hemorrhoid they also bleed. If it is dark red blood it may be from a bleeding in your colon. You are really too young to be having this kind of problem. You need to go and see a doctor. More than likely it is nothing but you need to talk to a doctor.

I have the same problem. If it is bright red blood, it is probably not serious. Bright red blood means fresh blood and is probably caused by hemrrhoids or an anal fissure(tear). You can try eating more fiber which could help with a tear. You may want to see a doctor if its hemrrhoids. If it is not bright red blood you should definately see a doctor right away because it is symptomatic of more serious internal conditions.

Sounds like you are straining your anus, if you put too much pressure on it, you will break the small blood vessels in your rectum and you will bleed. If it is red, then this is what it is from. If it is blackish brown, then you may have ulcers. IF you have ulcers, get on nexium from your doctor. It works great. I was on it for a long time, and it helped me alot. If its from straining, you might want to start eating more foods with fiber in them, or taking a fiber supplement. That way your poo is softer and you wont have to strain. Good luck
