I just got my period last night, i've been up all night with extreme pains. But today i have a dance show, and theres no way i can get out of it! If there anything i can do to ease the pain. I tried Ibuprofen ( however you spell it) but it hasnt made a difference. Please help me if you know anything that might work. thanks

I was on Aleese 28 day for like 7 years, my doctor switched my birth control to ortho-tri cylcen lo about 14 months ago.I have noticed I have put on unexpected weight and I havent changed anything.Does anyone know the difference betwen the 2 pills? Maybe the dosage is very different or something,any help would be appreciated....

I am in my early 20's (college) and am afraid to do my homework.

I have "F's" in 4 classes that I am trying to make up for but when
I have registered for the classes I am afraid to get a B or C. I feel
like I need to get an A and it is making me not able to do stuff anymore. I know I am smart but what is going on?

I am really worried about this, I feel as though I cannot graduate with these types of feelings.

Has anyone heard of this new anti-rape condom for women called Rapex? have not had a menstral cycle since 2-2-06. I am not pregnant and yes i have had blood tests to confirm. Prior to febuary i had a cycle every 4-5 months very heavy, i have not had one in a while, my breast hurt and it look like i have milk ducts again ( the white on the nipples) My child was born 3 1/2 years ago- is this normal since he was a c section delivery- what could be my problem besides being overweight?

I'm just going to get dirty again! I see no purpaos to it. I think ti's rally stupid and childing and that you shouldn't have to do something that you're jsut gonna have to do again tomoro! okay, so, i was most of the time wearing 32 b's, they were a nice fit, maybe almost getting small, but i didn't bother to go shopping because they fit well enough. Well, a few months ago, maybe two or three, i noticed stretch marks, kinda ugly, but i hoped they would go away. Well, the right one (which, strangely enough) was the first one to start growing in the first place, just decided to up and take off, i'm wearing some 34 b's i had before but didn't fit the best, and now the right one is too big for it! the left one is getting there, and most of the only stretch marks left on the right one are gone, and the only ones left are near the outside edge. But you can DEFINITELY see a difference between the two, i need to go bra shopping for 34 c's now, but thought, i'm EIGHTEEN! I thought they were done. I did start my period late (i was 14 and a half) and not that i'm complaining about the change, i'm just wondering if this is normal, and if they are likely done now, because i don't want them bigger than a c. And, luckily, neither does my boyfriend. But is this normal, are they done, and will the stretch marks ultimately leave?

really bad. now i didnt just come right out and tell her she stank, i sort of tricked her into going to walmart with me, bought alot of feminine hygiene stuff and when she asked why i got two of everything, i sort of played it off and told her i was'nt aware of it but since i bought extras, she could have them. was that wrong? i couldnt just come out and tell her what other people are saying.

Sometimes I have heavy periods. They are so horriable because whenever i go to use the restroom or wherever i feel very VERY dizzy up to the point i can faint. but it is so bad that i cant wipe it l (u know what). i lose a lot of blood plus i dont have too much iron in me. do u what i can do to pervent this? i am 14.

ok, I have heard that if you think you are going insane, then you are not. Is that true? I'm afraid to go to my doctor with my concerns for fear that he will get me locked away or something. So opinions on symptoms would be appreciated.
my symptoms:
1. chronic unexplained headaches. (2 doctors have tested me and said that the headaches are my imagination) but they are not. They are sometime immobilizing. I eat ibuprophen like candy.
2. very irritable-little things set me off
3. paranoid and very untrusting.--I find myself hunting for clues that my husband is cheating or conspiring against me. This sometimes consumes hours of my time.
4. my sleep sways from one extreme to the next. Sometimes I suffer from insomnia. While other times, all I can do is sleep.
5. thoughts of suicide. I do not want or desire to be dead. But, thoughts of suicide CONSTANTLY run through my mind. it would be safe to say at least 20 times per day. I have had these thoughts since a very early age. Recently, I have noticed that they are quite often and this is beginning to frighten me.
6. feelings of worthlessnes and hopelessness
7. I'm very reclusive and find it extremely hard to make friends because I feel that most people do not like me or that I can not trust them. I have ended many relationships because of this. I don't have any friends at all. I'm beginning to think that this is unusual not to have even 1 friend. People try to become my friend but I resist until they give up.
8.constant feelings of unhappiness. Even though I am utterly and completely in love with my husband I find reasons to argue and to cling on to everything negative.
9. lately I have been feeling light headed/dizzy and am experiencing nausea
10. I feel lathargic. I don't feel like doing or going anywhere. I don't even want to take pictures and I absolutely love photography.
11. unsure of decisions I make. I am constantly 2nd guessing myself. And wondering if the decisions I make or plan to make or right or wrong.


I was taking paxil but found that I still had suicidal thoughts and I still have a headache. I felt like it was making me not care about important issues. So, I stopped. I took it for about month. and have been off of it for about 3 weeks. I feel so depressed, suspicious of everything, and anxious. The suicidal pictures are worrying me. I used to think that everyone had these thoughts. But, I'm finding that most people do not. That is truly worrying me. I'm afraid to go to my doctor and tell him this. I don't want to end up in a mental institution or something. Do I sound nuts or is there a name for what I am experiencing?

Well, I don't know if this is an issue worth worrying about, but please help me - any advice is appreciated.
On September 1st-2nd I ovulated. On the 8th - 12th, I was with this guy and we "fooled around". Although we never did engage in sex, I am still concerned. He fingered me, but never was inside me. Just on the outside. Also, he *might* have had dry precum on his fingers, I am not sure but even though he told me (afterwards) that he didn't, I am concerned.
Don't human eggs survive for only 24-48 hours? If this is the case, my egg (which I ovulated on the 1st to 2nd of sept.) should have been disintigrated, right?

Well, I had my period on the 15th of september, 16th of October ,after some delay, and 13th of November; all lasting around 5 days or so. My period for December was due on the 13th (my cycle fluctuates from 28-30 days) and december 13th marked the 28th day. I have yet to get a period, I am freaking out. I have PMS symptoms, but still no period.Could I still be pregnant?

I have been on Nuvaring for the past 7 months. Last week I had my period and I had the ring out. So on Sunday, 3 days ago, I put a new Nuvaring inside. Am I still protected against pregnancy or do i need to use a condom the FIRST WEEK while the Nuvaring is inside? I havn't had my period in about 7 months. I went to the doctors and they took my blood and urine, but they didn't find anything wrong with me. I think it may have stopped because of the physical activity I was doing, but I'm not sure. My mom is making me another appointment tomorrow because they need to do a pelvic exam. I am kind of worried though because I don't know what this is, or what could be wrong with me. I also have kind of forgot about what a period was like. If I do get my period back, I really need to learn how to use a tampon because I am active in sports. And also if they offer me birth control to help the period come back, should I take it? What are some of the effects of taking birth control?
