I am in my early 20's (college) and am afraid to do my homework.

I have "F's" in 4 classes that I am trying to make up for but when
I have registered for the classes I am afraid to get a B or C. I feel
like I need to get an A and it is making me not able to do stuff anymore. I know I am smart but what is going on?

I am really worried about this, I feel as though I cannot graduate with these types of feelings.

What do you think?

Can you help me?

Perfectionism is one of the causes of procrastination.

Many colleges and universities have excellent access to counselling services. Perhaps going to talk to a professional about all of this will help.

Try to take some of the pressure off of yourself. In the grand scheme of life, getting a B in a class isn't so bad... Even an F won't kill you. (I have an F on my transcript and I am in grad school now - it's not as bad as you think)

You have created a series of psycological barriers that prevent logical thinking and have created a kind of "writers/learners" block. This is interesting as proven mental instability can not only cause a decrease in the ability to write but learn as well. I think that you need to start from the beginning. Stop letting them tell you what you want and decide for yourself what is best. If you hope to finish this than you need to decide what it is you are trying to accomplish and if this is really the best for you. Dont let yourself be the object of your own destuction, allow yourself the creatively and the will power to do what has to be done and dont let anything stop you. People who do what they love very seldomly say I cant do it or it cant be done they look forward and say I am going to do this no matter what and I'm going to enjoy this. Either do it or dont. You Decide.

You seem to be stressing. Try to drop some classes, if your can. Also, a B or C is not bad compared to the F's. Don't focus so much on always getting an A.

Why are you stressing? Calm down and get with a tutor so that you can study properly. Remember its only a class, and if you study you will know the material, if you drink coffee stop, the caffeine is working your nerves.
