if you feel comfortable with it and she is ok talking to you about it sure all signs of comfort help a woman at that time cause it is like loosing a best friend that we HATE. but there is some subconcious thing that women need someone there to help cope with the "missing" feeling.

Would'nt dream of it.Your mum may have told you about the birds and the bees.That was appropriate then.Today your mum would be totally embarrassed indeed affronted if you would try to discus such a personal issue with her.

Depends on how close you are. It's a pretty sensitive subject because it goes with being old and most women are touchy about their age. Also, menoposal women are easily moody so ...good luck with that.

I don't see why you shouldn't.
It is obvious that you are interested in finding the answer,
I am sure she won't mine. There is nothing bad about
you knowing.....actually, if she admits it, she might even
explain to you how she feels at times, and that will make you
understand her better. :-)

if you and your mom are open with each other there should be no problem with talking to her about it. it would help you to understand the different symptoms suck as the mood swings and so forth.
