I know it varies from woman to woman, but I was wondering what the common side effects were other than weight gain. I've heard horror stories about Depo-Provera so I was thinking about the pill instead.

I am 23 years old. I have had problems with my period since I was 9. When I was 11, I was told that I had excessive bleeding and was put on birth control. I stopped taking birth control and since then my periods have been getting worse. I get diarreah, back pains, cold sweats, vomiting, cramps so bad I can barely walk, and I am constantly tired. There have been times where I have almost passed out. When I bring this up to my doctor, he just says I need to go back on birth control. What is wrong with me? I would like to know the problem before I try and treat it. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know.

I have this problem where when I get around a lot of people and I am nervous or I have my stomach sucked in I will release gas without knowing and stick up the whole room with the smell of eggs. I know its me but I dont feel it coming out but it has happened a lot and it forced me to drop out of high school because I would get made fun of. Does anyone know what this could possibly be caused by? I have gone to the doctor about it and she didnt have any idea what would be causing it. Do I have to go to a special kind of doctor? The problem seems worse when I wear maxi pads.....Anyone know what this could be?

since ive started taking birth controll pill i'm gaining weight. Is it all in my head or the pills to blame?????? i have no control binge eating on everything and anything. Is it the pills or am I just to blame. (oh and no im not pregnet)

My doc gave me birth control pills.He told me to start them on the sunday after my period. well we had a family death that was sudden and had to leave to go out of town right away. with my mind not being clear i forgot to pack my pills and had my period while i was gone. This is my first pack. I am not sure if i can just start taking them now or if i should wait till next mnth. And if i do just start next mnth, will my pills be ok to take. thanks!!

What are some of the sure-fire differences in symptoms between an ovarian cyst and ovarian cancer?

Also, is it possible for an ovarian cyst to last for many months, whille only causing pain occasionaly?

I have a question. About three weeks ago I had sex with my boyfriend. Im on the pill and I always take it at the same time. We had sex that weekend and on that monday I got my wisdom teeth out. The knocked me out completly for the procedure and put me on hydroconie, percaset, and another anitbiotic after that. I continued taking my pills as usual and the antibiotics. My period was suppose to come 10 days ago and didn't. The only thing I had was some brown discharge in my underware the day before I was suppose to have my period. I took 5 different pregnancy tests---the 5 day before your period one and then I took one this morning also. They all came out negative. I don't have any signs of being pregnant--Im a little more tired than usual but that's about it. What do you think caused my missed period? Im really really freaking out and have probably spent over $100 on pregnancy tests but they all came out negative. Please help with any advice you may have!!!

A long time ago i was with a fat girl. After the second day i knew her, I was intimate with her. I noticed that she would try to turn all the lights out and turn off the t.v. My husband and I have been trying to have our second child for almost a whole year. I had all of my periods this year except for August, October and November. I have been going to the bathroom every five seconds it seems like and my breasts are a little tender. I am looking for some advice. I am 22, female, and live very happily with my boyfriend, 21,. He owns and opperates several import and export businesses with his father. We live very well and have a hugh family and lots of friends. My boyfriend works very hard and is always extremly busy with clients and meetings ect.

I don't mean to sound sick, but I had just started gettin' fingered. Well, about the 4th time we done it, I went to the bathroom and when I wiped, It had a speck of blood on it. To make sure my period didn't come early, I wiped again and nothing was there. I'm a 19, female, virgin. Is it possible to break your hymen through fingering? I came off the pill ovranette around 18 months ago now. I had a miscarriage my husband and i did not even realise i was pregnant and so i decided to stop taking it. Around a year ago we decided that we were ready to try for our own baby and have bin ever since. My periods are very irregular so this has caused some complications however i think i mite be pregnant now. I was ovulating between the 4th and 8th of this month so my period should be due anyday. Unusually i have not had symptoms of pms tho except a miold cramping that i do not usually get. I no its very early but I have been feeling very nautious and also i have a lot of gas (burping) and very greasy skin also tenderness of the breasts. I took a hpt but it was negative. What do you guys think pregnant or just going quietly crazy thanks in advance

hi ive been suffering from dizziness before my periods now for the past 2 years since i had my dd, i get dizzy b4 hand slightly and am better once my period starts and then i also feel dizzy a few days after my period has ended!! ive seen a neuro, ear specialist and none of them can come up with any reason for my dizziness but its very annoying. Does any1 else suffer from this. i also spot in between periods every month and have been told this is hormonal, this has only been happenin since i had my second child 2 years ago!!! please help!!! im only 27!!!

Ok, I am 13 and i am a virgin. I started my period in June.
It was due on Wednesday and its still not here.
Last month it was 1 day late.
I feel bloated often and my breasts feel slightly tender.
I know im a virgin but im worried im pregnant even though i havn't had sex.

...very much like a period. The first time it happened, I bled for 5 days, like a normal period, 18 days after, I started bleeding again after intercourse. I thought it was just an unusual period, this time it lasted 10 days of bleeding. I finished bleeding after 10 days, had intercourse a day later, and the bleeding started again. Looks like a full period, but there is no pain or dicomfort. Anyone had this experience?

3 months ago i was told i have endometriosis and now i am having the lazer sugery to remove some of it. Can some one tell me what this is like, recovery time, the pain afterwards and will it affect my chances of having kids. As far as i know i have endo on my left side of the womb and on my bowel.
