i haad my tubes tied 3 weeks ago. and before that I was on the birth control pills. i was wondering if anyone knows how long after you get your tubes tied can you go off the birth control pills. i asked my doctor and she said I can get off them now, but I thought you had to wait a few months.

Is this normal? I am doing some self help by having a stroll down the road each day and extending the length of walk. Eating fruit and veg and doing absoluteley nothing. Also finding it extremely painful with wind and going to the toilet. Feeling bored. Commenced on HRT.

I am a 24 year old single female.I have never had regular periods since my menarche started at 15.Sometimes,it came after 3-4 months.Some other time,it took as long as 7 months .I did seek medical help in my teenage age but was told it is not usually considered an abnormality in one's teens.I expected it to regularise with time but it did not.At 22,I sought medical help again,did some tests and my thyroid,sex hormones,insulin level was all normal.My doctor decided to place me on contraceptives.After taking the contraceptives,I started having my periods every other month.A year later,it went back to the initial trend of 3-4 months between a period.Please I am worried.What could the problem be?????

Hi all.
I have a concern..(wont sound nice) everytime am on my period i tend to get chunk of blood, as well as normal period.
my period is always usually heavy in the first 3 days. But before i never ever used to have thick chunk of blood.
i been getting these chunky period past 2 years.
am not preganant or anything. as i check for preganacy evertime my period is late. (not ready to have baby). am not pregannt as i always get my period every month even if its 1/2 weeks late.

is it normal to have chunks of blood? i mean its not huge chunks, just little ones. some slightly bigger.

i was 8 weeks preganant, but had a miscarriage which i thought was my period as it wwas normal heavy period that i normally have including little chunks of blood. this was 5 months ago,
is little chunky period normal together with normal flow?

I know that bleeding is induced from a women's vagina during intercourse for the first time and that would indeed indicate that the women is a virgin, if i'm not mistaken. Do all women bleed for their first time? Reason for asking is because my significant other and I were our "first." At least I know that she was my first. But the thing that kinda irked me was that she did not bleed when we had sex for the first time even though she claimed to be a virgin. What gives?

i had to go to the doctor and they took a sample of tissue from down there because i was diagnosed with HPV they used this brown licquid stuff to stop the bleeding, now everytime me and my husband have intercorse it looks like the brown stuff comes out of my vagina, but i had those tests ran in like august... could it be that or something else...it also smells like the infection i got from my c-section...so could my insides have an infection? what else could it be? i also have something that is purple and hurts at my panty line do you think tight panties could bruise that area??
