It's very little blood that occurs usually, so you might not have seen it. Or maybe you didn't actually break the hymen, that's very possible.

I can certainly understand you being "irked", as this is a very sensitive issue and not only is trust and honesty at the core of any serious relationship -- I believe it is the very foundation. So let me assure you of this: Do not question your significant other's virginity based on this issue as it is TOTALLY FALSE that all women bleed thier "first time".
Granted -- many women do.... But it could be as small as a few drops... and go unnoticed. There are several reasons why there could be no bleeding, and here are just two of them... The hymen is a very delicate & thin flap of skin, so (1) The use of tampons, excessive exercise, horseback riding, gyno exams, self exploration, etc. MAY have already torn it.... and (2) On some women it is very flexible and just gives way without tearing... So be at peace and give your Sweetie the benefit of the doubt. If she is lying to you.... You'll find out somehow -- the truth always reveals itself -- But do not let this one thing 'cause you to doubt!

Far not all women bleed.
Bleeding appears from ripping the hymen. Hymen can be distroyed even while riding bike and so on. Moreover some women are born without it.
The term "virgin" has nothing to do with bleeding. Even if you lost you hymen but had no sex you are virgin. Even if u masturbated with an object big enough to break hymen, you are virgin.
Whatever you do before a dick went into ur vagina you are virgin.
I know pretty many examples among my friends who lost it without bleeding.
Btw trust in relationship is smth you should have before having first time with ur partner, dont you think?

No, not all women bleed the first time. Things like riding horses, using tampons or seeing the gynecologist can break the hymen years before sex ever happens.
Interestingly, some women bleed a little during sex even if it isn't their first time. So, there's no way of telling . . .

Nothing, I think.
My understanding- as a guy who does not have a vagina, (unfortunately because they are really quite lovely)- is that the bleeding the first time is actually referring to the first time the hymen is perforated, which may or may not involve sex. This perforation for example could have happened (likely happened) while doing gymnastics, dancing, horseback riding, doing a sexy pose for you. You never know. It could have happened to her when she was 12.
anything else is a myth i think. If she bleeds post hoc, it's probably because of the start of a period and the 'dried-blood-dam' burst, unleashing a trickle to a torrent.
I would try not take this kind of thing personally and be happy that you are having sex with her. Now keep her happy and you can have a lot more! (as a general rule: this means trying to keep any jealous feelings as your question kind of implies to yourself or at least not showing that you have them- it will ruin the fun, man , trust me)
stay strong, 'Busta Hymen' (that's your new rapper name). and good luck.

Not every woman bleeds during their first sexual encounter. Sometimes a girl might already have broken her hymen without knowing about it. The hymen can be broken in many ways not relating to sex, such as riding a bike, horse back riding, or playing certain sports. Some women are born without a hymen, which is also normal. In addition, the hymen may not have broken, but simply stretched out when first having sex, and therefore she would not bleed.

I heard that not all women do bleed during their first time. Why have doubt with your gf? Is she your first sex experience? If not, can't you tell if she's really a virgin or not? Cause my bf told me he'll know it caused he had sex before with other women before we met.
