If you use this web page you will see that from the figures you have given your Body Mass Index(BMI) 28.9 which is normal weight for someone your size. You might be feeling insecure because your body is not toned but the only way to fix that is to exercise................

Perhaps you just have a slower metabolism? Also, it really doesn't sound like you're eating enough - is this what you've always eaten, or are you doing this in an attempt to lose weight? You should be getting at least 1200cals a day minimum - probably more depending on your lifestyle. If you consistently eat less than what you need, your body will go into starvation mode and hold onto all the fat it can! I would highly recommend you start eating breakfast, just something small if you find it difficult - brekkie is the most important meal of the day and will boost your metabolism. Also, some people say snacking is also good for your metabolism and to keep your energy levels constant throughout the day - perhaps you could try 3 small but healthy meals and 2 snacks throughout the day? 'Snack' doesn't mean potato chips though - like a piece of fruit or carrot sticks or something.

If you take just 2 chapatis for lunch and 2 for dinner and nothing else, you are definitely underfed. Your excess weight is definitely not from your diet. Also, I don't think that you are far too overweight. Your problem might be hereditary. Are any family member(s) from either of your parent's sides overweight? If yes, you could have inherited it from them. Alternatively, it could be on account of thyroid. Check with a doctor. And try some workouts - jogging, yoga, pranayam - anything that is convenient for you. Lower metabolism often leads to accumulation of fat. If it doesn't work, consult a doctor.

You will have to burn the existing fat. Dieting is a bad option to lose weight permanently.
Two things:
Do yoga for 30 minutes in the morning, regularly
Walk for 30 minutes in the morning (3 to 4 km).
No other way. You can maintain a weight of app 50 kg.
All the best

Your metabolism is very slow because you don't eat enough meals to boost it which makes your fat burning slow. You should eat breakfast because it starts your fat burning furnace and you should eat 5 small meals a day instead of 3 big meals a day. Also start exercising. It will make you feel good and look good too.

Because you don't exersize enough. I read a study on identical twins separated at birth, all were within 15% of each other's body weight despite their diets and upbringing. One set of twins was drastically different in weight (over 100 pounds). The difference between them: the thinner one was a marathon runner. If you dislike exersize, pick up an active hobby like dancing, the pounds will slip away in no time (and you'll have fun & meet some new people)

that is probably why you are fat - you aren't exercising and you are eating the wrong foods. You need more vegetables and whole grains and you should be eating a minimum of 3 times daily.
When we eat less, our body actually thinks we are starving so it slows our metabolism and tries to hold on to the calories it has - this is an evolutionary survival mechanism against famine.
So eat!!! but eat the right foods!

Hi, have you had your thyroid checked? If so and everything is normal, then you need to exercise more, if you are staying the same with what you eat then start incorporating some exercise into your daily program and maybe start to graze throughout the day, smaller portions, healthy food, and stay away from processed carbs for a while until you start seeing the weight start to change more to your liking. Grazing is good for the body, use fruits, vegs., fish, things high in protein and high in NATURAL sugar that will burn off quickly and not stay stuck in your body.
God Bless and Good Luck!

Well, even though you don't eat much, you still need exercise. And skipping meals like that is not good for your body at ALL! Your body needs energy from food to burn fat, and exercising makes your metabolism rate higher, thus burning MORE fat. So, my advice: eat more meals (healthy ones) and get more exercise. Good luck!

I dont know what a chapita is but you kind of answered your own question, get out and exercise, even if it is just going for walks with a friend. You may want to look into a lower fat diet and cut out any high sugar snacks but get out and exercise.

Dear Cutties.
This is perhaps due to you uncontrolled fat taking habit during your childhood. You should no give up taking food, else you would be in lots of trouble of body weakness as the body bloodcells requires the neutrient every 6hrs. to keep themselves healthy and so as you. However, you can loose your weight by regular exercise(Jogging is the best way to loose the weight in my view- but do it patiently as it takes long.) Also I will say U must do your own works as much as possible without depending upon others.
