In april I had a hysterectomy. I have basically had a pretty uneventful recovery, except I am still having some soreness and a few aches in my lower abdomen. I went two weeks ago and had my eight week check up and my doctor and I decided i could return to work, but no lifting anything over 20 pounds until july 17th. That would only be one month of light duty. The issue is my job is giving me a real problem. They don't feel they can accomodate the restriction . I feel really bad because I don't want them to think I don't want to work, because i do, I just want to be careful for a little while. I work as an rn on a stroke and orthopedic surgical unit, so lifting is a very real part of my job and it's hard enough when I'm feeling at my best. can anyone please share with me their experience if they've had this type of surg and how long did it take you to really get back to yourself?. This whole situation has me really feeling down. I now am back out on disability just because I can't lift

like say when your older like 20 or something do you not get your period anymore? or do u still have to use pads and tampons the rest of ur life?

When I'm on my period, I get really bad cramps. Nothing I do seems to help. I only get them the first two days and its really terrible. I can't do anythign for those two days and sometimes I have to miss school. What are some suggestions to help the pain?

Dear all, i lost my virginity to a bad guy, it never felt special cos he treated me like meat. i didnt enjoy sex with him i just let him have his way cos i was scared to loose him, he was my rock. I was 19 i am now 20, i want my virginity back because i feel bad and dirty , being brought up a christian. I liked this other guy who though i was a virgin, so he was keen, i was persuaded that i suld loose my virginity and when the guy who liked me found out he lost interest. It really hurt me cos he said i was a slut like all the other girls, depite the fact that he isnt a virgin himself. Very hurt, can i get sugery, i really wuld like surgery.

Since I got my tubes tied I have had lower abdominal pains regularly and heavier periods. I was also told I might have to have a patial hysterectomy because of my womb dropping and a cyst on one of my ovaries.

I had a miscarriage about 3 or 4 months ago. My system have not been right. Every morning I wake up I feel sick, like every time i swallow . I thought it was because of morning breathe, but later own i'll feel the same. My eating habits have changed also, I only had 2 cycles, and I have strange pain in my stomach.

My friend stop taking the pill after her last cycle (June 8th). On June 13th she said that she and her boyfriend had unprotected sex. Although he did the pull out method, she did have some bleeding afterwards. Now she is spotting. Could she be pregnant or is she trying to get her cycle again since coming off the pill.
