i got bad acne on the sides of my face and on my forehead. i finally got something to work and now my zits are going away but i got deep pores and blotches that look like bad acne.
what can i do about it.(and also dead skin)

Since bacteria thrives in damp, warm places, wouldn't our hands be the perfect place after washing them?? They would still be damp and wet after we washed them.

Ideally I'm hoping a dermatologist could answer these questions but anyone with a good knowledge or personal experience will do.

Basically, I have various skin problems and was wondering if anyone could advise how to go about getting them sorted. I suspect it is all related (perhaps a deficiancy in a particular vitamin) but I could be wrong.

They are as follows:

1. My skin goes blotchy/red with even the slightest pressure or scratch (as in if I have an itch) and takes a while to return to normal.

2. After shaving I get VERY red skin, particularly on my neck and the sides of my face. I never shave against the grain and generally use a single blade and shave lightly but it does not help. It is not a typical shaving rash as it is not bumpy.

3. Red lips. My lips go very red after eating certain foods, kissing, exercise etc.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

I would like some feedback on what others have found to be helpful with the results of Raynaud's like the swelling in the hands and feet. My finger tips are a bit sore but not very painful. What really bothers me is the swelling. Any advise?

First of all, my feet are in very nice shape and are pleasing to look at, but there is a little problem. Where my toenail meets the skin on the side in the corner is a little patch of white, dry skin. This is mostly on the big toes. It's not that noticible, but it drives me crazy. Why do I have this? Is this common? What can I do? I've tried lotion and letting my toenails grow a little longer, but I still see it. I always wear sandals. Please help.

Is it a good idea to use Proactive in the morning, then after I work out use the neutrogena face wash, then at nigt use proactive again? Because after I work out, I can't go the entire rest of the day without washing my face. I feel the zits popping up.

After swabbing a ruptured pimple with an alcohol pad, I know have a half dollar size area on my skin that looks like a rug burn. It is oozing and hurts like the devil. I haven't found that this is an adverse reaction to alcohol. What is this and what can i do about it? help?

somehow i got a small cut between my thumb and nail

It's dark blueish-purpleish-blackish in colour. It's due to the pressure from the tight shoe i wore and my long toe nails the other time. I've clipped it short now tho. Will the clot disappear soon?? Or a few months later?? It looks ugly..
