Well, touching it is the most obviuos, but like you said, you rarely touch it. It beaucase the other parts of yuo body are protected by clothing and the face has pores, microscopic holes which when clogged with dirt will form a pimple, make sure you wash your face, espcially if you live in a city, fumes and smoke and dirt is all around the air.
It not just bad luck, pimple come and go, more in your teens, but if you are that concerned then, just, get this witch stick, or a tea tree stick which you can apply to your pimple, but never try sqeezing them becuase you may sqeeze the pus out, but you will end up with a dent where the pimple has formed.

You may touch your face a whole lot more than you think you do. Your face is the most sensitive exposed part of your body throughout the day. You don't absorb a lot of dirt and oil on your hands because the skin is more callus, whereas, on your face the skin is more delicate and the pores open and close more readily due to temperature and moisture changes.

Your face is exposed to environmental effects (temperature, bacteria, dirt, etc) primarily more than any other part of your body. If you wear makeup, you are applying oil-secreting substances to your face. Talking on a phone can make your skin oily. Otherwise, I'm not sure. Some people break out on their backs, etc, and I am not sure why except possibly the oil from sweat seeping into pores.

Thats a good question. I think it has something to do with the pores, but im not sure. Try using Tea Tree Oil brand name J/A/S/O/N.just use a few drops a day and that should do the trick. research it online first or get a doctor's opinion first if you like.
