Lice only live on hair so putting the lotion on their backs & shoulders is useless.
If you want to, you can put a couple of drops of tea tree oil into some body lotion & your shampoo. Lice don't like tea tree oil.

Most lotions do not work! The best way to get rid of lice is to conditioner and comb the hair with a nit comb every couple of days. In a couple of weeks you will be nit and lice free! And no, you do not put lotion on the shoulders or the back unless your children are incredibly hairy!!! Good luck

Prioderm and most chemicals are not a long term solution and can be damaging to scalp and skin. As said previously, the nit comb with conditioner is the best solution. This must be done at least twice a week as this it is only a few days from hatching to laying eggs.

Lice only live on the scalp, as they feed on the blood of the host, there is no point in putting the lotion anywhere else but the scalp

There is no need to use it on her back and shoulders even if she has long hair. The lice only live in the hair itself, not on the surrounding skin. Try the lice combs first, fewer chemicals.

You can use it on your kids hair. Alternatively Tea Tree Oil and Lavender on direct is less harmful on the hair condition itself and gets rid of them faster.
