I have oily/dry skin, and it's a real problem. I wash my face two times a day, and when I feel a breakout approaching I use a mask. It works a little bit, but there are still tiny pimples on my face. As a result of all this, my skin is dry. I'm hesitant to use lotion on my face because I've been told not to. So is there anything I can do to keep the pimples of my face and keep it moisturized?

hi , my 16 month old baby has been suffering for about 5months from really dry skin, he gets it a lot over his cheeks and chin that appear bumpy red and sore looking also he gets big patches slightly bigger than 50p size around the back of shoulder and upper back, again these are sore looking red and very scaly. My health visitor looked at him and said he had bad dry skin and i need to bath him every night with oilatum and rub in vaseline on his face., and when it runs out get another prescription. Has he got eczema or something as she never mentioned it but y do i need to go back?

You know, you use to be able to unscrew the shampoo bottles when you got too much out of them...
so is it too harsh to use as regular body wash?

They don't itch or bother me until I accidentally scraped a couple off when I was combing my hair. I felt around and there is about 7 more of them...should I be concerned? I don't have dandruff and my head doesn't itch. They only feel irritated when they get scraped off, what could this be? Could it be a serious problem? One was bleeding a little, kinda gross. But seriously, what could it be?

I know dry skin and all will do that, but what precisely happens to those skin cells that make them react so that they need relief?? And why does the act of scratching, give those cells relief? does the scratch release some type of phermone that satisfies the other cells??????

My husband had been having the feeling as if his elbow is wet , when it's really not. He doesn't say that it hurts, just an odd feeling that he can't explain. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them or does anyone know why he'd be having these strange sensations and what should be done ??!!

Any ideas if the beloved pups are causing this, and also, how do i get rid of it? (and not letting the dogs lick me is unfortnuately not an option)

i had a baby 10 days ago and have not breastfed. i discovered a medium sized lump in armpit along with a small pea sized lump. these lumps do not hurt and are kind of smooshy, could they be related to drying up breast milk?

Got any advice???

Has been diagnosed as Cellulitus bacterial infection. Dr gave me antibiotics and told me to come back in 4 days as it wasnt ready to drain. His English wasnt great and he seemed in a hurry so I didnt get an answer to any questions. How would this be drained? I am in excruciating pain constantly with this. The nurse said I will have to have it drained under general anaesthetic but there may be some chance that the antibiotics will work. How long will it take to recover? The left side of my labia major is swollen to about 3 times its normal size and is very hot and tender. Have any of you ever experienced this and if so have you any advice. My personal hygiene is excellent so I dont understand how this happened. I am terrified !

A few months ago I got this huge spot on my nose. At the time I think I burst it a little and it reduced in size although it didn't go away altogether. I noticed it left an odd kind of mark on my nose and every 4 weeks or so a spot does come back there (I think bursting it meant there is still dirt or something in my pores causing the spot to pop up ever now and again). Anyway this happened again 2 weeks ago, the spot has now gone away because I’ve been using face wash and moisturiser every day but it has left a mark on my nose - kind of a brown colour and looks kind of like a mole. Any ideas? :)
