I have oily/dry skin, and it's a real problem. I wash my face two times a day, and when I feel a breakout approaching I use a mask. It works a little bit, but there are still tiny pimples on my face. As a result of all this, my skin is dry. I'm hesitant to use lotion on my face because I've been told not to. So is there anything I can do to keep the pimples of my face and keep it moisturized?

I feel your pain!!! I am in the same boat BUT I have found a way to fix the problem. First of all, I'm 37 and I use Noxema Clear Skin Dailt Scrub. When I feel a breakout comming, I use their instant clearing cream, BUT I moisturize every day with Neutrogena combination skin moisturizer and I don't feel like my skin is too tight and I'm not overdrying my skin, making it produce more oils. Only use the Noxzema 1 time /day. Use something like Cetaphil at night.

I agree that a lot of lotions on the market won't be good for your skin. But you might check your local health store: I found a lotion at mine that is light, not overpowering, and does in fact actually help. Also, I found an oil at this same store that is positively wonderful. I like using it on the worst of my dry skin, and it beats chapstick all over the place for fixing lip problems.

mix epidermis would properly be complicated to paintings with. I actually have mix epidermis myself and that i come upon that the seasons more often than not dictate what beginning I placed on. as an get mutually, throughout the time of iciness, my epidermis can get fairly dry so i want a more beneficial hydrating beginning, at the same time as in the course of the summer, my epidermis receives vivid the second one I walk out into the nice and cozy temperature. once you've mix epidermis, you are able to wish 2 foundations – one for iciness, and one for summer. That suggested, Revlon PhotoReady is a marvelous regular decision that works properly 3 hundred and sixty 5 days-round: placed on over moisturizer in iciness and lower than powder in summer

You need to use a mild cleanser. Or use regular noxema. And you need to exfoliate twice a week with some sort of exfoliating scrub. Exfoliation is EXTREMELY important for combination skin because it keeps your pores from getting clogged. Then you need to find an oil-free moisturizer. I like Clean & Clear's oil free moisturizer with salycilic acid. It moisturizes, prevents shine and prevents breakouts.
