i had a baby 10 days ago and have not breastfed. i discovered a medium sized lump in armpit along with a small pea sized lump. these lumps do not hurt and are kind of smooshy, could they be related to drying up breast milk?

I agree, see your doctor. It could be a milk duct, swollen gland, or a benign cyst (nothing to worry about), but you don't want to assume. Don't stress about it though. It is likely related to your hormone fluctuations at this time, but don't ignore it either. See your doc. : ) Good luck.

These could be anything; but they definitely need to be checked out immediately. I had a lump under my arm and it was an allergic reaction. I wasn't pregnant and hadn't had a baby recently. Call your doctor because lumps can also be a sign of a not so benign problem.

I would agree with the last person. The problem is that there are lymph nodes in this area. These glands are used to fight infection. If there is a problem, this could spread into other areas of the body. DO NOT IGNORE. You want to be around a long time for that baby.

They need to be checked out at the docs office. Do not ignore lumps near the breast area.
