I have had ongoing pain since hernia surgery in January and cannot exercise for any extended period. My surgeon has no more advice other than to wait and hope. I am going to see an acupuncturist.

Does anyone recommend a specific acupuncturist in the MD suburbs of DC (where I live) or DC itself (where I work)? I can find lots of them but I have no basis to choose one over another.

Thanks.

my boyfriend has eczema, it gets more itchy by night, he has being attending a homeopath for about 12 months now and at first it worked for about 6 weeks, but then it came back. she changed the treatment after that it seemed to move from the rest of the body to just the feet and there has been open wounds on the feet since which are weeping puss. when he questioned this she told him it was just all the treatments he has used in the past getting out of his system and once these were gone he would never suffer from the eczema again. hes a long way down the line now and has stuck to everything she tells him to do but he seems to be getting another breakout again.

has anyone ever heard of eczema being cured by homeopathic treatments before cause he's tempted to go back to his doctor to get some relief as he has spent many night awake just scratching his feet for the night. or if anyone can recommend any other treatments i'd be greatful for the help,

thanks

Does anyone take this. I want to start, I'm just a little scared to take it. I have never taken any herbal vitamins before. I really don't take anything. Are there any side effects I should know about?

My Chiropractor wants to see me 3 times a week, every week for a year. I have cancled appointments because of soreness and inflamation, and I feel that the adjustments are excessive. I've delt with chiropractors all my life and I have never heard of adjustments being done so frequently for so long. Does anybody have any info on the safety of frequent adjustments? Should I be getting that many adjustments? Links to professional articles and info on the matter would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

My doc just gave me sulphur to END my homeopathic treatment (I was being treated with Arsenic Album and Ignatia, for anxiety). He said it would "bring out" all the previous diseases/ and infections I've had!?! What is that supposed to mean? He said it's the 'final cure' so that they won't occur again. So what will it do, exactly? What's it for?

My hubby injured his lower back/tailbone area several days ago. He sneezed and that threw something out of whack, that's when he started feeling pain, but before that he was also in the garage lifting some boxes. He's been to the chiropractor two times so far and is signed up for a month of chiro, and most of the lower back pain has actually already went away, it's now just his tailbone (and not the tip of the tailbone but above that - the tailbone itself) that hurts real bad. He's been laying on the couch and if he stands up it starts spasming. He's talking about going to the doctor in a week if it hasn't cleared up by then (but I don't want him to go that route because you know doctors and the back - I'd rather go the chiro. route). He's not overweight/big belly, good diet, moderate exercise. Does anyone know of anything he can do for this to heal it? Any stretches, perhaps, or anything at all? Anyone go through anything like this...? Thanks! :)

I heard that alfalfa leaf tablets can be used to treat acne and other skin blemishes. i see that it's used to feed animals and treat intestinal problems but has anyone ever used it as a beauty remedy or for acne and how effective is it.
