Go to the dried herb section of the grocery store look for cloves they taste yuk (aniseedy) but they are really cheap and they are a natural numbing agent for a toothache.
Or look in your kitchen pantry

i hear biting an asprin on the hurting tooth helps but if you don't even have that i would say to rinse with warm salt water because it will clean it well. if you have like 3 bux you can get temporary filling at any drug or grocery store and it helps a lot. most times a tooth ache is caused by an exposed nerve from a break or cavity and if you clean it well and fill it the pain should stop until you can see you're dentist. good luck

Try Tylenol or a dab of brandy on a cotton ball and dab your tooth. When you can get to the store, get some Anbesol. It tastes terrible, but it works. If the pain doesn't subside in a few days, contact your dentist. Good Luck!

clove oil is an old remedy for tooth aches. I think it's bad to swallow too much of it over the long term, but if it's just a temporary fix then it shoudl be ok.
ice might help some if you have it, or if you dont have ice see if you have a bag of frozen peas or other vegetables that might work.

Take a couple of cloves and pound the heads... keep it on the aching tooth, it'll burn but the pain and the burning will subside soon. Or you could mix 1/2 teaspoon of cinnammon with 1 teaspoon of honey and rub it on your gum over the tooth that hurts. It helps.

Do you ora-gel--the kind of gel you put on a baby's gums when they are teething? That works.
