XBOX 360 "Disc Unreadable" Brand new console and game!?

Hi all, I just made the leap to HD gaming and chose the Xbox 360. I got Dead Rising and occassionally in between loading scenes it will say "Disc Unreadable Try Cleaning With A Soft Cloth" and take me back to the main menu for the xbox. I don't believe the system is overheating because it does this after as soon as 30 minutes of play.
So the system is BRAND NEW as is the game, the disc has no scratches and looks perfect. Is there something wrong with my console or perhaps the game?

Also, does anyone find it reads discs better horizontally or vertically?

P.S. don't tell me to get a PS3 or Wii because they are better, blah blah. I want advice, not commentary.

Does anyone know where I can get Columbine t shirts?

How do I get my computer to let me play games in messenger again?

I use to play domino's on messenger with a friend, but for the last few days all that comes up is a blank space with the little white box with the red X in it. What do I do to get it back to where I can play again?

For the xbox 360, whats a really fun game that is suitable for children.?

I have my little cousins (they are about from 9 to 11 years old) that come over almost every weekend to play. The only thing I can't let them do is play on my xbox 360 because i only have games that have violence, blood, gore etc. Games like gears of war, saints row, and rainbow six vegas. Their parents wont tolerate that stuff, so what's a game thats really fun that is suitable for the youngsters.

nintedo wii online?

Hi I have dsl in my kitchen counter. Do I need a router in order to connect online with the nintendo wii??? Or will the wii pick up the dsl modem connection??? If it needs to pick up a router connection.... I live in a building wont it pick up one of the apartments so I can use the online for WII. please explain

Can I play Naruto Clash of Ninja 4 (japanesse) on my standard American gamecube?

Alot of places are telling me that I can't, but I just wanted to know if there was some sort of thing I could do to my gamecube to make it play this game. I've seen people do things to their video game systems that are pretty crazy, if you know of something I could do, let me know, or if you just have this game, does it work for you?

I seriosly need help with sims one PLEASE HELP ME?

i have followed insturctions completley but nothing is showing up in the game! I have tried putting my objects in the objects folder NOTHING i put them in the userobjects folder NOTHING it didn't have a folder named download so I made a new and guess what NOTHING i am ussually really good with that kind of thing but it just isn't working so pretty please help me
