The wii is AWESOME!
It can go on the Internet, its wireless, you can download games, it uses a sensor bar, its $350 less than PS3 and its easier to find than PS3!It can also play Gamecube games, load Camera and Cellphone pictures, and saves Wii games into the console itself!
And its backwards compatible, uses wireless internet (wi-fi) and can detect the Wiimote's signals from as far as two houses away!

I was at the BBC good food show in Birmingham at the weekend and there was a stand there with the Wii (not sure what that has to do with food but oh well.
I had a go on it with I think the new Zelda game.
Apart from it being really difficult to control I liked the idea that if you act with your arms like you would a real sword the same movements happen on the character in the game.
Same as your swing in golf.
My opinion is that it is good as a secondary console but not one I would rush out and buy straight away.

You will enjoy playing it. TV size is irrelavent. Don't let people tell you otherwise, it is THE game system to own. It takes a little getting used to but it is so amazing to just play a simple game like bowling. You control the ball in every way just like if you were at the lanes. Trust me. It's worth $250 just for the sports games that come with it. The possibilities are endless for future titles. Trust me, Nintendo will not let you down.

Wii is the best system ever. It comes Wi-Fi ready right out of the box and the graphics for the new Zelda game are beautiful on a normal (non-HD) TV.

The Wii is absolutely dynamic. Just makes a huge difference with it being cordless and the fact that you have to move with it. I ordered one a few months ago and I managed to try one last week since Nintendo is touring the UK with it. Roll on Launch date (8th Dec UK), I just want to go and buy it now

it is a VERY good console indeed. Yes it will be online (and free).
i thnk the idea is great. it goes beyond graphics, into a whole new way of gaming.
it will work perfectly fine on any sized television.

yes!! there's going to be a free web browser until june plus you can buy old ninetendo/sega games straight off the wii/tv for only about 8 bucks!!

yeah, it's really fun and will keep you immersed for hours. It's good on average sized tvs and yes, there is wi-fi
