I am going to assume you mean Gateway, the computer maker. Generally, Gateway targets its market at home users, provide direct sales like Dell, and still provides excellent customer services as it always has. Gateway also has less variety of models for people to choose from. If you are not computer savvy, but still like to configure your own computer a bit. Gateway computers will be good to choose from, and the prices are still comparable to similar Dell and other computer makers' models.

Since I always try to go aganist any company that appears to be monopolistic, like Microsoft, Walmart & Dell, etc. I've bought my personal computers from Gateway.
