Do you think it better to pay somebody to train you how to play or do you think it better to train yourself how to play and you don't have to pay any money. Do you think it better to get a trainer and if you train yourself do you missed out on what a trainer would tell you and not you yourself? Do you know any cool websites that trained you how to play?

I keep seeing on eBay a Hobby box which has 36 packs, 10 cards per pack. Then I see a box which also has 36 packs but it does not say hobby. What is the difference? 2006 Fleer Basketball cards......

I'm trying to finish the edges of a piece of fabric - turned it under, pinned it in place - but when I run the sewing machine over it to sew it down, I get very loose loops on the bottom side. It looks normal on top, and then I turn it over and it's just ugly. I've tried it twice now and gotten the same results. Oddly, when I did the short sides of the fabric, I had no problems. The long sides are making me crazy.

I'm going relatively slowly, since it's been years since I used a sewing machine and I want to keep my lines straight. Would this have anything to do with it?

Thanks!

My grandma was a seamstress all of her life. When she died, we got stuck with all of her left over fabrics. There is a great deal of it all. I'm not talking about scraps, I'm talking about yards and yards of the stuff. We don't want to waste it by throwing it out. However, we also don't know how to get rid of it. Selling it in a yard sale would be very difficult. I don't think places like Goodwill would take it. What can we do with all of this fabric?

I love scrapbooking but have not made a scrapbook of my own. I go through websites like peasinabucket, simplescrapbooks and such but I only admire what i see. I don't know anything. I started a list of how to books but I think what would be best is one of those scrapbooking workshops, or anything like that.

Can anyone reccomend a good workshop. Or something for beginners. Something of great quality, that is national or more local (live in MA)

Thank you!
