My husband's 80 year old aunt knitted a WHITE yarn table cloth.
Needless to say,I am not going to put this on my table,it's way to special...how can I preserve this from ruining or getting fuzzy?
I made the mistake of washing a knitted blanket once and it lost all shape...

I need to make a solar system project, i cant use a kit, and don't want to use styrofoam balls. I want something really original, but not tooooo expensive! Any tips, They have to kind of be close in scaling but not really. I have the box from a plasma screen TV my family just bought, so I should have plenty of space to work with.

never kinitted before in my life, somone MIGHT teach me one on one if this is not possible I need advise on what or where I should turn for help.. book or internet for example that will teach me the best and easiest way. Im right handed I know that stands for something. I also want to know what size needles I should start with, metal wooden or what?
Same for crochet, what size hook, metal or what? And aside from a one on one instruction what is the best way for me to learn how to crochet? same as knitting a booklet or advise where I can learn this craft I dont want to take an adult class at a local school I dont have the time or money for that suggestion.
LASTLY....what is easiest knitting or crochet? why do people give me so many different opinions on the 2 crafts? That amazes me. Thanks for your help everyone!!!

In the 30's thru the 60's men would walk a pony through a nieghborhood and take pics of kids on the pony. He would have a hat, bandana and chaps for the child to wear.For a small fee he would take a pic for you.I have a few family pics like these and would like to collect other pics for a collection.

I rently learned about wool felt doll making, however, I am unable to find any websites on it. Besides the websites that sell the wool. Wool felt dolls are dolls that are make from a ball of wool felt and a special needle. I was wondering if anyone was into this sort of thing or if anyone knows of any websites that would be useful. She has now been invited to two different birthday parties and has decided that she wants to make personal gift baskets for the two birthday girls. She is going to make a personalized journal for each and buy them a special pen each, she wants to make the rest of the stuff but what are some ideas she can do for them? for those of u who dont kno what spliff means then dont answer this question..those of u that do here it is...well i wanna make a FAKE spliff...totally unreal not real weed or anything...i wanna trick the people at ym skool so they think its real..im gunna fill the inside of it with a tea bag so it looks real...but i dont got zig zags so how do i make it look real using regular paper..by teh way im not plannin of really smoking it maybe jsut lighting it..but please tell me how to do this its really important
