This is probably a stupid question but I like the idea of posting something and getting many immediate responses. Is there anything else available like that?

I just want something simple - like just a patchwork of quilt squares, nothing too fancy, as I've never really sewed before either. I want to make a bedspread, and I've figure I need 858 4" blocks, or 520 5" blocks to make what I want, with 1/4 in seam allowance. I'm looking for quilting squares online (I don't get out shopping much) and I don't know what a 'fat quarter' is. These seem more available than blocks. What would be easier for me, but still make a nice classy quilt that I can use for a bedspread?

By the way, this battery is for an airsoft gun. ( An upgraded UTG Warhawk to be specific)

All you young people don't laugh! My grandmother made these pictures out of dried beans, corn when I was young. The beans were glued to a piece of plywood. They were actually very pretty. The bugs have eaten away at them and I want to redo them. Does anyone know where the pattern can be obtained?

I want to buy a DSLR. The Canon EOS 30D is just wonderful, but I've been using Pentaxes for years and have lots of Pentax-compatible lenses and fittings, so I guess I'll stick with Pentax. So which Pentax DSLR will bring me closest to the Canon EOS 30D kind of level (and also that of my current Pentax Z-1)? There seem to be five possibles: *ist DS, *ist DS2, *istDL, *istDL2 and the K100D. But I haven't been able to figure out what level they're on. Many thanks.

I recently purched a treadle machine from a flea market and am looking for any information on it. It's a Bruce Automatic made by Bruce Sewing Machine Co., Springfield, IL. Any information would be great!
