Hi. I'm a coin & currency dealer in the Midwest. From your description, I assume all the other lettering, etc. is strong, but there is one faint number in the date. If so, your coins have what is known as a filled die. This happens when dirt, grease, etc. from the minting process collects in parts of the die, filling in part of the design, or in this case, one of the numbers in the date. It happens with some regularity, especially with coins that are made in large quantities, like pennies and dimes. Although what you have are collectible, they unfortunately aren't rare as this is a common occurance. Based on what you've said, the coins probably are worth no more than a dollar or two to an intersted collector. Not rare, but they are neat and collectible. If they had substantially more details missing they would possibly be worth more. I'd suggest keeping them or giving them to a kid to get them interested in coin collecting. Hope this info helped.

They are definitely worth something, but I wouldn't trtust online sources. Find a coinshop in the phonebook and go and ask there.

Anything that they are worth will also depend on the condition of the coins. So in the meantime, wrap them in tissues or something and go get protector plates or sheets at a shop. Have a nice day.

They are worth something. Go on ebay. That would be your best bet. I'm not 100% sure where else.
