I just got done playing in a cash game, bought in for around $100 total. I did not feel comfortable playing anyone at the table. I think of myself as a solid player who doesnt play bs cards. I watched a table and a player called 1-8th of his chips with 2-4 suited then called an allin bet to make it like 60 more. Flop had a 4 and 1higher 1 lower with heart draw, they guy only had a pair of 4s and called an allin vs aq hearts. 4th street was a q and it was over. This is BAD POKER. i know that you dont just sit and play the best hands but at a table of 10 in ohio at any charity game its redic. I lost all my money with the best hand preflop 2 times, a k-5 unsuited raised my aq suited and i lost to 555 wtf is that, i dont even bother reraising pre cuz these donkeys call like its nothing. i then lost it all with 99 and a guy had ak, called my 26$ bet into a 34 pot like it was nothing. How can a good poker player win vs DONKEYS, even Phil Ivey would have had trouble winning. peace

is it true, if i regenerate my creature i have to tap it aswell? (sucks)

lets say...i have a river boa and my opponent shocks it for 2 damage on my turn so i pay the green mana to regenerate it, must i tap it? (crazy)

ok now its his/her turn and my river boa is tapped and he/she deals damage to it again..enough to kill it...i pay a green mana to regenerate it but i cant tapp it cuz its alrerady tapped...does it die?

Please help. Been playing Texas Hold'em with guys from home and I believe they are not playing it correctly when it comes to who acts first after the initial 2 cards are dealt(Pre-flop). I've checked the rules and it's the person to the left of the dealer but they insist that they play rules where it's the person who was to the left of the big blind to act first and when that round is complete(If anyone is still in by the Turn/River stage) it falls on the person who is then left to the person who acted first previousley, basically making it a different person each time. Whilst this is the same for everyone I'm convinced it's not suiting my style of play and that it should be played by the rules, that the person to the left of the dealer acts first all the time in that particular pot apart from when initial blinds are posted. Can anyone back me up and give reasons why what they are doing is wrong so I can actually take a print-out and show them so they start playing properly!!!

Basically, started playing a couple of months ago. Been taking tips/learning from watching it on tv and playing with guys who I live/work with during the week and who have been playing for a long time. I encounter problems when playing guys I know from home who basically throw in their 10 pounds for the fun of it and basically view the whole game as 100% luck which I don't totally believe to be the case. Usually around 6/7 of us who plays and when I get a real good starting hand at least one of them calls me with a crap hand but because of the flop etc ends up beating me. I sorta know when to get out of a hand and that but seriousley getting annoyed when they call me all the time. Found myself pretty much going all in sometimes just so they won't call me and beat me with crap. Any tips guys?

a total of 21 cards consisting of 4 kings,4 quuens,4 jacks,4 tens,4nines, and 1 joker were dealt to Alee, Bill and Carl. then all jacks,tens,and nines were discarded,at that point:

[1]the combined hands consisted of 4 kings,4queens,and 1joker.
[2]Alee had 2 cards, Bill had 3 cards, and Carl had 4 cards.
[3]the man with the most singletons did not have the joker.
[4]no man had more than 2 kings.

In case anyone doesn't know, a poker tell is a something a person does (or the way they act) that can clue you in on what kind of hand they have.

By the way, I'd appreciate it if you could tell me some poker tells besides the very basics (e.g. hands shaking shows they have a bad hand).

I did add a couple more card than last time thus the total of 48 cards in my deck. Please when rating my deck consider the possible multi-intricate combos that can be done and I know you people despise Toons (So try to be impartial) but they are good even though they have weaknesses like all monster do, they are very powerful and their weaknesses can be overcome (i.e. using giant trunade or chaining emergency provisions to protect my toons from being destroyed such a Mystical space typhoon). That is why I have scapegoat, to use the 4 sheep tokens to special summon my Toon Dark Magician Girl, Toon Summoned Skull, and Blue-Eyes Toon Dragon in one turn. Just a reminder that toons are special summons and are great swarms except for my toon Gemini elf of course. My deck is a beat down (i.e. Ring of Destruction + Barrel Behind The door as well as Wave-Motion Cannon and the toons) and a disabler (i.e. Jinzo, Horus the Black Flame Dragon LV8, and Mystical Knight of Jackal). Also do have knowledge of the current forbidden/limited card list when rating my deck for your convenience you can view the list one yugioh official web site below in case you were wondering why I do not have a graceful charity or Monster Reborn in my deck it should explain all:
