Situation happened to me the other night and need some help.. I was dealt in the hand but folded pre-flop.. 2 players remained.. player 1 bet on the flop and was called.. player 1 bet the turn and was called.. player 1 bet the river and was called.. At that point player 2 turned their cards and had top pair and player 1 who was called, mucked their hand. Is player 1 obligated to show their cards if asked?? I believe that since they were called they are obligated to show..

Hi folks! I was compiling a list of the hand nicknames of all 169 Texas Hold'em hands for an appendix in a book on low-limit hold'em I am writing and decided to make the list do double duty as an article in Bluff Magazine as well where I have a monthly column...

Here's the problem - there are two hands that I cannot, for the life of me, remember a legitimate nickname for. It is sooooo frustrating - two hands away from completion... So I need your help. The hands are 53 and 65. I need names for them - AND, if I choose your name for the 53 (or 35) and/or 65 (or 56) to be the best names and use them in the article and the book (which I already have a signed contract to write) I will mention and thank you in the acknowledgements of the book if you would like.

Other names that I think the nicknames are weak for - and might be improved upon are:
43 - Waltztime (3/4 time)
73 - Dutch Waiter (Sven with a tray)
85 - California County Hand (58 counties in CA)

been playing hearts on yahoo for over 20 games, yet still have a provisional ranking, though my score is higher than most in the "beginner" card room. I've been playing hearts since I was a kid, but can't get a decent game cause nobody wants to play with a "provisional"

You go to a website the "psychic" tells you to pick a card but do not click on it. Then they say concentrate on the card and then click on a link. Then the card that you have picked is then taken out of the shown cards. It works almost everytime and it is baffeling.

I was in Sweden and I learned how to play the game. The setup is 1 card, then 2 halfway on top of that card, all face down. Then when you get to 6 cards you put them face up and the object is to use the remaining cards and the cards in play to make 13 and get through all the face down cards.

I pegged 21 the other day, and like always it was jacks and fives. Oponents plays A jack, i play a 5, thats 2 for me. He plays a 5, 2 for him, I play another 5, thats 6 for me, 8 total, it's a go. I play another 5 for 12, and 1 for a go. 8 + 12+1=21

Um at this point is it the high card? Or player #2 because techinically he can make a Full House.
