All flash does is give your creatures instant abilities but it can not attack that turn unless it has haste but if you play it on your oppenents turn you can't attack. When your turn comes around then yes you can attack with it because the sickness is over. You do not lose your creature at the end of turn either unless it states you do.

The flash effect is like playing an instant, but most of the time creatures w/ flash are summoned in opponents turn to quickly block an attacking creature, and also it don't die and can attack when your turn comes, thats why many players consider flasher decks (decks w/ almost all cards have flash) very powerful and decieving

What? Of course not. All "flash" means is that the spell can be played any time you could play an instant, not that it is temporary. Your creature stays around just like a normally summoned one.

You could also essencially give it haste by playing it on your turn before your upkeep step. A creature loses summoning sickness once it successfully goes through an upkeep.
