According to the official monopoly rules:
You land in Jail when...
(1) Your token lands on the space marked "Go to Jail",
(2) You draw a card marked "Go to Jail" or
(3) You throw doubles three times in succession.

The question is in the latter scenario when you throw the third double, do you play out the role of the dice and THEN go to jail or do you go IMMEDIATELY to jail.

This question arose in a game where the role would have landed on a heavily built up area. The person rolling the dice preferred to go immediately to jail while the property owner would have preferred him to complete the turn, pay the rent and then go to jail. Who was right?

there are a total of 10 holes for 8 pegs. 4 blue on the left and 4 red on the right. There are 2 empty spots in the middle. The goal is to move the blue to red's position and blue to red etc. You can only jump over a peg an move 1 space into an empty spot. You cant remove any pegs from the board. What is this game called?

I enjoy chess, risk, and games such as that, but I am now looking at the wargames genre of boardgames such as Memoir 44. Are they fun and are they something that the whole family would be interested in playing?

I haven't played this game in a really long time, and unfortunately someone threw out the rulebook several years ago. If you are able to explain how to play or could link me to a site that has a copy of the rules, I would be very appreciative.

well to start, my great grandmother, was kind-a good at voo-doo.and after she died, it was given to my father. and my friend Carley and I are really interested in voodoo. make a long story short, we wanted to try a online one instead of a real one first. i'm the chicken in the group, so she tried it first. and she asked it " if your real, you must know my name, so what is it?" and it went to C-A-R-L-A. Her mom's name is Carla, but i thought it was strange..and for the fact it was only 2 letters off, it was kind of strange.
some people believe in online ones, but some dont. do YOU think that they could actually work? should i try the real one? my dad doesnt want me to try it, because he thinks im "vulnerbale" and gullible. and he doesnt want me to get hurt. ""please help!!!""

This is from when I was really little circa 1985. All I remember is a forest and little blue fuzzy creatures. It was a board game and you had to get them through the forest. There was a bad guy but I don't remember anything else. Thanks!

It really doesn't matter about age limits - we have all ages in our family, I just want to get them a nice little selection of board games for everyone to play with whenever we visit.

We always play games on Christmas night and I was looking for something new. Our ages range from 14 - 68. Monopoly, Uno, Scrabble and Yatzee are very overplayed at our house so I was thinking something different. Thanks!
