I like to play dominoes and spades, and hearts....I can't seem to get into any of the rooms. It comes to the rooms but won't let me enter. What is wrong?

sometimes i join what looks like a new chess game only to find it's already in progress and all of a sudden i'm the opposing player! then, when i try to exit the table it won't let me. i then either end up losing because i don't move or am just in limbo. why are some games bramnd new but other times already in progress. . .and how can you tell? also, how can you exit if you got into an existing game?

Try and give me some lesser known ones if you can. I'm already familiar with the more well known ones, i.e. taboo, balderdash, pictionary, monopoly, cranium, etc.

I have an assignment in my economics class where I have to create a board game pertaining to economics in which kids would what to play. What kind of game should I make?
