My favs game is listed below with the reasons:

Stratego: Great game because it requires stradegy on setting pieces, and also preddicting your enemy and knowing what his pieces are. The rules are good because the weakest can run anywhere he wants, the 2nd can destroy bombs and spy is the only other moving piece that can destroy a 10.

Chess: Very boring to me, but I love to outsmart my friends... I barely ever lost a game... it requirse alot of stradegy.

Mancala: I JUST LOVE THIS GAME! I don't know why, but it's fun, and in this game I never lost a game(It took me 3 wins to find out the rules, I just picked a area and my friend moved the rest)

My favorite board game is Risk. I like it because you get to take over the whole world, and I often win at it.

Snakes and Ladders.....it's like Chutes and Ladders, but is made out of plastic that sits at an angle so your marble piece actually goes up and down the gameboard based on where you land.

Also Mancala -- great strategy and a game can be played in less than 10 minutes. Great for a busy family -- when my son wants me to play a game with him, we can play this one a couple times. He gets his Mom time and the satisfaction -- he usually beats me !!!! He plans his moves out ......

Battleship, because it forces you to think and strategize. It also requires you to know and learn your opponent. And let's not forget, no other game allows you to say YOU SUNK MY BATTLESHIP!
