Let's face it, who likes standing in line for an hour or more for a couple of minutes of fun? Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio used to have the "freeway" pass system for up to 2 popular rides that would bypass most of the lines. I have heard Disney has a system for showing up to a ride at an assigned time to bypass the line.
I think it would be cool if a park developed a "waiting area" with concessions, video games, etc. and benches. You enter the area, take a ticket, wait for your number range to come up and then go to much shorter boarding line. Heck, make the whole park a "waiting area" and have little "departure times" posted on monitors all over the park for various ticket number ranges?
I'd be willing to pay alot more to get into a park that has developed intelligent methods of keeping their patrons out of those awful hour long or longer holding mazes.
So anyone seen anything like this?
