Thank you! Disney is the absolute most boring park chain I've ever been to. Despite extremely outrageous prices their array (if you can even call it that) is so over decorated (meaning too much time and money was spent on decorations rather than the ride itself).

Well I feel like they were the "Magic Kingdom" a long time ago. But they started making all these baaaaaad direct to video sequels. And it's like they stopped caring.
And went so overboard with the merchandising. Like they couldn't make the movie without the merchandising.
And the theme parks hardly have a character from the last 20 years. What's up with that? Do any of today's kids even know who the Mad Hatter is?
Then they got with Pixar, and pixar had "the Glow" if you know what I mean. They had some magic. But Disney tried to kill it's creativity by comity. So Pixar took their talent and left. And the last scrap of Disney blood got disgusted and left. That's bad news....
But now that Pixar and Disney are back together maybe they can make things work again...I think there is hope.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions. Personally, I love Disney, especially Disneyland. I really resent the fact that many people believe rumors about Disney's moral stance, and choose to attack so called subliminal messages instead of the blatent messages sent to our children everyday. If you have problems I urge you to please bring it up with shows like South Park, and leave Disney alone. Disney isn't for everyone, I understand that. But it's also not appropriate to make false, uneducated, and uninvestigated claims about moral decisions made by the Walt Disney Company. So no, I don't hate Disney. I don't understand why someone would spend so much time hating a theme park... seems like quite a waste of precious time.

I absolutely love going to Disney. I have been there multiple times over the last 15 years, and have NEVER had a bad experience. I have met many people that have been to the parks and also have worked there, and none of them have ever had a bad word to say about working for "the Mouse." It is pricey, but seeing the look on my kids' faces when we were standing in Main Street U.S.A, looking at Cinderella's castle was priceless. Worth every penny I have ever spent. I agree, Disney is not for everyone. But it seems that when you are the best, and you are on top eveyone wants to take shots at you. People complain about the lines, price of a bottle of water, or about tickets to get in the park, yet will think nothing about $7 for a beer, $4 for a hot dog, and $40 per seat to go to a baseball game or football game. They will stand in line for hours just to get a glimpse of their favorite movie star, or be first in line to buy concert tickets. What is the difference? All things in perspective I guess.

No you are not alone. Yes I hate Disney. And I think it's mad cheesy when I see Disney Checks or Wallets w/ Poo Bear and crap like that. Kiddie Halloween costumes w/ a PICTURE of the character on the chest... it's sot dorky. Yeah... Disney sucks.

Anyone who lives near "The World" has an axe to grind with the non-tax paying,, money grubbing act like they are above the law, and who is this Eisner guy to send a nice letter to an old man and tell him the tool shed on the hill across the lake from the Executive Mansion is an eye sore?
So, this "old man " told his friends and family and we got together and moved two old tumble down shacks to the highest part of the property and nailed them together using plywood shutters for windows. You don't like Chief Rhodin's tool shed? Well look at this shack!!!!!!!!!!!!

I went for my first time when I was 23 years old. I wouldn't go back. I'm not for any place that will charge you $6 for a bottle of water after chargeing you $80 to get in!

You are not alone.
They have taken superficial shallowness to a new level. Do you ever
read Karl Hiasen? He takes great fun at poking at the Florida tourist
industry.
And, generally, he is hillarious.
