Disneyland in Anaheim, CA.
Sometimes, there's no substitute for an original.
As for favorite ride there, that's an easy one.
MR TOAD'S WILD RIDE!!
Scared the daylights out of me as a kid, and 25 years later, it pleases me to report that my OWN kids are just as terrified of it as I was at their age. And so the cycle goes on, I guess. :)
But probably the main reason Disneyland is still my favorite is the fireworks show/Main St. Parade at night. Now I get to experience all the same joys of watching the kids look up in awe and wonder that only Disney can provide.

The Great Escape (a Six Flags owned park) in Lake George, New York. Not very long waits, but great rides. I like The Comet, The Nightmare, and The Boomerang. Awesome rides...you have to checkk this park out. They also just started the Flash Pass, where you can almost instantly get on your favorite rides with 0 to 5 minute wait times!!!

I would have to say I love Cedar Point in Ohio. Its versatility of rides is just outstanding along with its new, innovative record-shattering roller coaster designs. Even though there are new rides being thought of every second, my favorite is the classic Millenium Force. The freefall is possibly the closest thing to jumping straight down a cliff but you get launched forward right as you're about to hit the ground. There are so many loops and turns and amazing views along the way, no other roller coaster comes close.

I love Lake Compounce in Connecticut. It's not a well advertised place, and its secluded kind of back in the woods, but they have free Pepsi!!
My favorite ride is the Rotor, where you stand up in a big circle/room, and it spins around very fast. Then the floor drops and you are plastered against the wall! So fun!
